Pillars Bucking Bulls

Pillars Bucking Bulls was started in 1999 by Billy Pillars in the town of Balko, Oklahoma. Pillars has hauled his bulls all over the nation to various special events but now he finds just as much enjoyment in raising his amazing herd as he does attending rodeos.

Pillars got his start in 1996 when the opportunity to work for Freddy Cordell arose. Between '96 and 2000 Billy was associated with the best of the best in the bull industry. When he moved back to Oklahoma, Billy was given his start of three cows from Freddy Cordell himself. Along with those cows came an opportunity to breed to a proven bull every year.

Pillars Bucking Bull's herd now consists of proven cows out of A6, Katie Did, and Panhandle Slim bloodlines. Mo Betta, Grasshopper, Little Hopper, Uncle Charlie, and Super Slim are also a predominant part of Pillars breeding program. With 35 cows roaming the pastures producing little spots and over 40 bulls, proven and up and coming, there is always excitement in the bucking arena at the ranch!

Pillars Bucking Bulls has experience many exciting opportunities including a trip to Anchorage, AK for the first PBR in Alaska and a top 45 finish at the ABBI Finals in Las Vegas, NV with a bull name Shorty201. Every summer becomes busy with rodeos and bullridings traveling from Texas to Nebraska over to Colorado and everywhere in between.
